In this portion of the Training, the trainees will go through at least 2 situations about report handling. These situations can end in any way the FTO wants it to end. The Trainee will have 15 minutes to come up with a final conclusion and should give a reasonable answer on their decision. The FTO should not help the trainees until after the Courses and during their reevaluations after every course. See Courses below. Note: You may copy and paste the current scenario and witness statements to the trainee's DMs. Scenario 1: Roles: Officer A - Reported Deputy Officer B - Operational Commander (No Statement Provided) Deputy C-D Suspect A - Surrendered Subject Suspect B - Subject Shot and Killed by Deputy A A scene on Fleeca bank has required swat to activate and a total of 2 Officers have went down. When swat arrives Suspect A surrenders and puts his hands up. Suspect B runs on foot Southbound towards the mechanic shop. Suspect B is armed with a Rifle and has shot multiple Officers beforehand. Swat Officer A Shoots the suspect 4 times causing Suspect B to collapse. The rest of the Swat team clears and Secures both suspects A & B. The Swat Officer has faced some complaints against the shooting that it was not justified. Swat Supervisor team has initiated a Investigation on the Officer. No clip was provided, Witness A has provided a statement for the investigation. Witness Statement: "When we arrived on scene we saw 2 subjects armed with Rifles running from the bank. 2 officers go down and one of the suspects surrender and put their gun down. The other suspect kept running towards the mechanic shop and one of the Officers shot him as he was running. I don't have a personal opinion against the shooting." Scenario 2: Roles: Officer A - Operational Commander Officer B - Reported Deputy Suspect - Shot by Officer B Hostage - Shot by Officer B During a Pacific Standard Bank Robbery, Suspect A claims to have a hostage and wants to negotiate. Officer A tells the Suspect to show the hostage and step outside. Suspect A claims that he doesn't want to hurt anyone and just wants to leave. (Clearly showing a mental breakdown). While Officer A is speaking to the suspect and asking about the well being of the hostage, Officer B aims his rifle at the Suspect and hostage and takes a shot. Officer B hits both Hostage and Suspect. Officer A Secures the suspect and Medical begins treatment on both Subjects. The Swat Officer has faced some serious complaints from suspect (OOC) and Officers on scene against the shooting that it was not justified. Swat Supervisor team has initiated a Investigation on the Officer. No clip was provided, Witness A claims to have seen the suspect not holding a weapon other than a knife. Possible Sources:
